Excellent product. Cheaper and way better than SelectTech
I purchased the PowerBlock dumbbells after returning the SelectTech dumbbells. The SelectTechs are cumbersome the weight plates feel loose and you have to dial two dials to select one weight. Furthermore they are over $100 more expensive than the PowerBlocks.
On the plus side for the PowerBlocks:
1) They take up very little space for an adjustable dumbbell
2) They feel solid
3) While not cheap they are much cheaper than the SelectTech dumbbells
4) You can do over the head tricep extensions using both weights or one using the handles on the bottom
5) Selecting the weights is a one step process for each weight
6) They are upgradable with a heavier handle option and a barbell option
On the minus side:
1) Alligning the pins to select the weight is a bit more difficult with the weights on the ground. The stand or a table top would alleviate this problem.
Overall I'm pleased with the PowerBlocks and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality adjustable weight dumbbell.

Great Bench!
This is a super bench for the price. It has 4 different height adjustable positions and each leg can be either folded or reclined to a different angle to further incline or decline this bench. Also both legs can be folded to make a great floor bench for floor presses as well or to simply be tucked away until your next workout. This is a great product that came already put together right out of the box. If all of best fitness's products are of this quality then they've got a new full time customer.:)

Excellent quality if you want pounds not kilos
I just spent an hour going through the stock of a local fitness company. The Body Solid kettlebells are really well-finished - not quite as smooth as the picture makes it out to be but close (!) and quite a bit smoother and better finished than the GoFit Cap Troy Apollo and Powermax bells I looked at recently. I found several that I could buy and never bother to touch up the handles in fact. They're almost as smooth as most epoxy coated kettlebells.
The handles graduate in size somewhat but are roughly 1 3/8" or 35 mm through most of the range (appx. 20 - 50 pounds) and a bit smaller below that and a bit larger above. Space inside the handle is a bit under 3" but measurements were hard to get very accurately with a tape measure. Suffice it to say that handle diameters are sufficiently beefy and space is certainly mainline.
The paint on all the examples I saw except one oddball was shiny black. Body Solid describes it as enamel though the dealer insisted it was powder coat. It scratches white and some on the rack showed some scratches like this. I actually preferred the matte finish on the oddball but the dealer insisted that all new ones are the shiny black.
I like them and they're well-priced. The only problem - for me - is that I prefer kettlebells in conventional kilo weights as virtually every book video training regime article etc. that you read on kettlebells uses kilos (standards weights start with 4kg and go up in 4kg increments). Pound weight is a non-issue for the 35 pounder as it's only 3 ounces different than a 16 kilo bell. The 55 pounder however is 2.2 pounds heavier than a 24. Body Solid doesn't make bells above 75 pounds. All competition bells should you develop that interest are in standard kilogram weight progressions as well.

Pretty Good
I tried an inversion table a week ago at a gym and had to have one. I ordered this one on Monday and got it on Tuesday with free shipping so that was exciting in itself. Assembly was pretty easy the bolts are already in the holes they go in so that saves time looking to see which one you need. Put together it seems pretty sturdy. I had it put together in less than an hour by my self.
The inversion felt good I was on a Teeter table at the gym and while it was super nice I am not going to spend that much money right out of the gate.
My only complaint is I am not that tall and to set the table at a full inversion with the foot slippage my head hit the metal bar instead of resting on the mat part. I think I can fix this with a travel pillow. My arms also are touching the ground but I can also live with this. Overall I am really happy my back and shoulder don't hurt this morning and my hips aren't screaming at me for all the sitting and driving that I do.

I finally found the perfect workout machine.
I've been looking for quite a while for an "all-in-one" home gym to replace several pieces of gym equipment that I've been using regularly for several years: a Weider 8510 pulley-type machine a Roman crunch bench; a Body by Jake; and free weights.
I looked at the "Total Gym" machine (the one pushed by Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris). I went to their website and requested their free video; a few days later I got a phone call from them telling me that if I bought it that very day I could save $100. "I want the video" I said. I never got the video. That sent up "red flags" in my head for the Total Gym people. I resent being hustled.
Then I found this item the Total Body Works 5000. I could not find a single negative review for it anywhere.
I bought it. I love it. Even though I've been working out for years I am impressed. It will help free up a lot of space in my basement!

Excellent dumbell
We own three sizes of this dumbbell 8 15 and 25 pound.
Pro:
+ Good looking
+ Seems well manufactured
+ Sturdy
+ Hex shape won't let them roll around
+ Weights permanently affixed to the bar so won't rattle
+ Coated weights are temperature nuetral when they make contact with skin which will be nice in the winter
Con:
- Coated with an oil when arrived definitely will need to be cleaned (the oil got into/aggravated my eye)
- Bar is a "bell" shape so center is fatter than ends for the bigger weight my hand tends to slip off the center and my hand ends up right against the rubber end
Note: The 8-pound dumbell has a smaller diameter handle bar than the other dumbells we own.
Bottom line: recommended bought an additional size after purchasing and using the weights I originally ordered.

Its the 850 but looks exactly like this one. GREAT!
I have chronic upper back pain and a pinching the nerves in my spine that affect hands and forearms. Once I had a 2 week spell with sciatica and couldn't walk from lower back. They have never bothered me at the same time. Upper back is my usual problem.
Normally I toss and turned all night with numbness and arthritic pain in hands and forearms. I searched to see if this Teeter Table has helped anyone with upper back problems as most of the praise was about relief of lower back pain. My search only found another person with the same question and no answer.
This thing is great. I now have hope. It has helped relief dragging pain and discomfort I have come to know as an all-the-time thing. I thought it might help a little but not this much. WOW! The first night after using it I slept so deep and my pain and numbness was much relieved. I slept through the night til 5:10 instead of the usual up every two hours. Still I developed the pain (pretty strong) by the end of the work day. I went home used it to relax and teeter on. What a great stress reliever it is. I also inverted all the way back this time for a few seconds. Really pulls the weight of your head off the spinal column. I spent a lot of time on it just inverting minimally while my daughter told me about her day. (She loves it too to relieve back ache and stress).
Then I slept well all night with minimal numbness and pain with deeper sleep. Only woke up once in the middle of the night.
2nd night: Slept great pain much less than day before and a great day at work with no pain WOW! I just wanted to make sure I told you how great it is because my inclination (no pun intended) would be to invert my happy self off into the sunset. Good night! Buy it it's well worth the money! Oh one more thing. Do watch the dvd on assembling it. That will save you a lot of time putting it together. My daughter and I did it in a reasonable amount of time. It is well made and you feel secure with how well it is put together. Happy inverting! I will try to update if any changes develop.

This Bowflex bench is solid...
I bought the Select-Tech 552 dumbell set w/stand so I needed a bench to go with it. I saw this was the 'matching' bench and had good reviews so I went with it without much shopping around. I think I paid $150 with no tax or shipping. As I did not shop around I don't know if this is a good 'value' compared to other brands.
As far as the bench itself it is very sturdy. No wobbling while you are using it - this is a big plus. It also looks very nice and obviously matches my other equipment.
The adjustment options are nice to have but to me they are mostly unnecessary. I only use it in the flat position and one incline position. I can't imagine what one would do with all the other positions but maybe someone who is more sophisticated in their work out could utilize them.
The leg attachment again is very sturdy. I didn't buy it for sit-ups nor would I recommend this to someone who wanted it solely for sit-ups but if you want a bench primarily for lifting that gives you a sit-up option this will work just fine.
As to the negatives... This was mentioned by another reviewer but there is a opening in the bench where it folds up. It is really in a bad place (atleast for me I am 6' 3") - right on the small of the back. It is uncomfortable and seems like it could cause injury. I am able to get around it by scooting my rear as close to the end of the bench before I lay back. Still it seems like this could have been designed better.
The assembly was simple and consists primarily of using washers and bolts. On mine on the bottom end the welds were in the way of one of the holes I needed to put a bolt/washer through. The washer would not sit flat and it was very difficult to get this one tight.
Another complaint would be that the wheels are useless the way they are positioned - you will just end up dragging it from one place to another. And the bench does not fold up for storage so it may not be the most compact bench to tuck away when not in use.
Overall I would recommend the bench and I would buy it again but it is far from perfect. If you shop around you may be able to find a better option for your individual needs. Hopefully my insight helps with your purchase decision!

Make this purchase...you will be pleased
This is a must if you don't have something to sit your dumbells on. It is very sturdy and has either roller wheels or stationary feet you can easily install. It really is quality construction and I am glad that I have it.
I would have given it 5 stars...but the instructions on how to assemble it are brutal. It won't take a rocket scientist to do it but it will take a little figuring out (common sense) to know how to do a couple of things like attaching the straps to the base of the dumbell platform.
Be on the lookout for sales on this item. I ordered the 552 dumbells and the stand came with it free. I bought them through Amazon.com.
